Optimist Clubs in our state are part of the DMM (Dakotas, Manitoba, Minnesota) District of Optimist International. Each district hosts a Junior Golf Qualifier Tournament for local youth to compete for a chance to qualify to play in the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship held at the Doral Resort in Miami.  The hosting club will pay the registration fee to the OI Championship for the first place winners in each of the 7 divisions!
